A Long Island Iced Tea is a classic cocktail that has been enjoyed by many for decades. The recipe features a unique blend of five different spirits: vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and triple sec. It also includes lemon juice and cola to give it a refreshing taste.
Long Island Iced Tea is the ultimate rebel of cocktails. It's a little bit of everything - vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and triple sec - all mixed together in one glass. It's like the misfit crew that somehow just works.
And when you add in the lemon juice and cola, it's like they're all holding hands and singing "Kumbaya" around a campfire. But don't be fooled by its innocent appearance - this drink packs a serious punch.
One too many sips and you'll be seeing double (or maybe even triple). So if you're feeling adventurous and looking for a good time, give this bad boy a try. Just don't say we didn't warn you!
Ingredients
Vodka: Adds a clean and neutral flavor to the mix, allowing the other spirits to shine.
Gin: Gives a botanical kick with notes of juniper, coriander, and citrus.
White Rum: Contributes a sweetness and richness to the drink with hints of vanilla and caramel.
Tequila: Provides some kick with earthy undertones.
Triple sec: Adds an orange-flavored sweetness that balances out the other spirits.
Lemon Juice: Gives acidity to cut through the sweetness of the cola and balance out all the spirits together.
Cola: Brings in a sweet bubbly texture that complements all the different flavors in Long Island Iced Tea.

Lime wedge: Another classic citrus garnish, lime wedges can bring out the tartness in the drink while also adding a refreshing aroma.
Cherry: A bright red cherry on top of your Long Island Iced Tea will not only make it look more festive but also add a sweet note to balance out the strong alcohol flavors.
Pineapple slice: If you want to give your Long Island Iced Tea a tropical twist, add a small pineapple slice as a garnish. It will complement the sweetness of cola and give your drink an exotic flair.
Mint sprig: For a refreshing and aromatic touch, add a sprig of fresh mint on top of your cocktail. This will enhance the herbal notes in the drink while also making it look more sophisticated.
