Ingredients
Jalapeño: This vibrant pepper has a pleasingly hot flavor, which makes it a great addition to any margarita. Just don't overdo it, or you could end up with a concoction too spicy for your guests. A few jalapeno slices are all you'll need.
Cucumber: Provides a cooling counterbalance to the heat of the jalapeños. Its mild, refreshing flavor is perfect for this summery cocktail.
Fresh Lime Juice: For an extra burst of zing.
Tequila Blanco: To add some serious potency to the drink. It has fruity and floral notes, with hints of pineapple, grapefruit, and jasmine that combine to create its complex flavor profile. It has a slight sweetness, balanced out by an underlying smokiness and finish of pepper and spices.
Agave Nectar: To sweeten things up without overpowering any of the other flavors. Agave can be substituted with honey or simple syrup as a sweetener. Honey has a more distinct flavor, while simple syrup is more neutral and allows the other flavors in the drink to shine. The substitution does not require any major adjustments, although you may want to reduce the amount of sweetener used to get a better balance of flavors.
Tajin and lime juice (for the rim): Adds just enough spice and brightness to really tie everything together and give your margarita its unique edge.
Instructions
Ready to spice up your cocktails with a Tajin Rim? First, pour the Tajin into a shallow plate. Then take a lime wedge and drag it against the side of your glass.
Roll the limed edge into the dish to coat it in Tajin. Make sure it sticks - because you're going to want that zesty flavor!
Next, grab yourself a cocktail shaker and add the jalapeno, cucumber, fresh lime juice and muddle for about 45 seconds.
Add tequila, Agave Syrup and 1 cup of ice into the cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
Fill a glass of your choice with the remainder of the ice cubes, strain and pour in the mixture from the cocktail shaker and garnish with cucumber ribbons (optional) skewered on a toothpick!
Finally, add your straw and enjoy!

For a spicier drink add more jalapeno. For less spice add less. Same with agave, for a sweet drink add more sweetener, for less sweet add less.
To Make a Frozen Margarita
If you want a frozen cucumber margarita, follow the same steps as above. But this time, instead of pouring it into your glass, place the ice inside a blender.
Strain your margarita into the blender and blend until desired texture.
Pour into your glass and serve!
